At this rate, Hasera and Calen will be having a Champion dud-off. A name like Lady Monettela Verea Cortessa Florentia does not bode well.
Ya keep an eye out, I’m sure she’ll show up in the future 😉
I have the feeling that not only will we get to meet the good Lady MVCF, but that she has previously met Lark.
And he’s probably got some nickname for her that she can’t stand, as she’s got a full name that he can’t be bothered to remember.
Those are excellent guesses. I’ll let you know this, two of those are right, but only one is spot-on.
She’s actually quite happy to be nicknamed “Money”.
You know, it suddenly strikes me that Lark might only be the most famous Champion among humans. Other races quite likely have their own champions that they revere more than everybody else’s. So Lady Monettela may be just as famous among Elves as Lark is among Humans, and possibly might actually be the more impressive of the two all things considered.
So, what’s the bet that Calen has similar dreams and fantasies about Lady Monettela as Hasera does about Lark, and they they’ll be just as brutally crushed?
*cough* Sorry, just making an assumption there. Clearly it’s just as likely that Hasera’s assignment will be all she wanted it to be and there will be no wacky hijinks whatsoever, right? Right?

Aw, c’mon Allison, not all elves are like that. In an old AD&D game I had an elf assassin that was like a subtle fart in the elevator…silent but deadly.
