Ch4 05
There’s a terrible gastro virus going around our neck of the woods and the entire family caught it one after the other. I was lucky enough to be the last. Now, with gut-wrenching pain aside, Alli and I can get back to trying to get our buffer up and running. A week of sick kids, sick artist and sick colorist/writer can kind of take the wind out of anyone’s sails.
That is also the reason why there is no review this week. It should continue on schedule next week. Until then – does anyone have any requests for our favorite sassy duo?
I wish you a speedy recovery.
Can’t say much to the comic except that the ice sure is glittering much.
If they want to sneak out silently, they shouldn’t use so many exclamation marks. Unless they know the whole village is drunk.
Ah… the amazing ‘quietly yelling at each other’ technique! No one will ever know.
Ugh, gastrointestinal viri (yes, I did have Latin) are a pain in the lower body, both internal and a certain external area. Hope you’re all feeling better and don’t relapse!
You have a “links” page which I see features several comics you have reviewed favorably. I haven’t studied all your reviews yet, though, and it would be nice if they were more easily accessible than browsing all the pages of the comic(s) you’ve done. So, can you add to that links page a list of pages containing all the reviews you have done? That would certainly make it easier for someone to suggest a comic that is not on the list. Thanks in advance!
I think we’ll be adding the reviews as a link in the future. Alli and I are looking at redesigning My Hero!’s website. It has grown further than the original design will let it, so it’s time to bust down some walls!
Just be careful about busting down that fourth wall. It’s load bearing.
I should probably remember…But have you reviewed Drowtales: Moonless Age yet? It’s been going FOREVER and to top it off, it’s a 5 day a week updater (currently, it used to go 6 days a week), so it’s an undertaking to read. I picked it up 6 years ago and even then it took me several sittings to read it. That being said, it’s fantastic and extremely detailed, so even if you don’t review it, it’s worth a read. It’s not particularly humor based, just as a warning (though Kiel makes me laugh every time she shows up with her absolutely psychotic nature).
Considerably shorter and much more lighthearted: Fey Winds by Nicole Chartrand. Love this one too. 😀
Hahaha
ouch. dick move not catching her like that
What does he look like? Some kind of Guardian-catching-person?
Which excuse would you like? There was some dirt in his eye! Cheap alcohol impaired his reflexes! He thought she was a llama! Her hips were smaller than he expected! It’s his religion’s “don’t catch a falling Guardian” day! Or, you know, the truth – He’s just a dick?
