Life has been a little hectic for us this past little bit, but we’re starting to get back on top of things.
I’m not sure if Hasera has ever seen her magic ‘break’ in her hands before. As well, I think Sazael is a master of Tae Kwon Leap, given what an excellent display he has just provided to us all.
One would wonder who ‘the best’ was. As we have been lead to believe, ‘the best’ was supposed to be Lark. Commence theories! I wanna see what everyone’s thinking!
He’s not even wearing any boots.
So great is his skill with Tae Kwon Leap that he has transcended the need for the boot!

Whoever Sazael thinks is “the best” does not necessarily actually qualify for that label. There might be someone who could qualify (what if his teacher was the god Jer’zail?), but I’m just saying we shouldn’t accept Sazael’s claim just because he claimed it.
Interesting how Sazael had 2 weapons in his hands last page, but hit Hasera bare-handed on this page. He’s playing with the presumed victim, of course. If he gives her enough time to actually do some thinking about tactics, he might be in for a surprise.
I agree: just because he believes it doesn’t make it so. Additionally, it may be he’s referencing “the best” of his favored style, discounting any other claimant as using an “inferior” style.
And I think that was his foot.

Not sure about that. if they were taught by the best, Hasera would be dead before the monologue. Never give the enemy time. Honestly, pretty sure they just lost this fight.
She should have taken that clerk position

Hmm, he seems to be enjoying the fact at least one guardian didn’t die easy allowing him to have some fun.
