The chapter cover for 6 – Jenny, Magnus, Melinda and a young Lark. This is The Lark’s family. Don’t they look happy? So happy. The happiest of them all. Truly they are the epitome of a well put together, completely not crazy or self-destructive family unit. Yup. Nothing interesting happening here. They’re perfectly normal.
We’re going to be going on hiatus for two weeks because Alli has a massive addiction problem with Final Fantasy 14’s newest expansion and the only cure is more Solus. I’ll do my best to reign her in and get her to work on some pages in the interim. Until then, I’ll be happy to answer questions about this wonderful family and some of their (Non-spoiler) quirks.

Nope, they look like a complete normal family of crackpots. Hasera you may really have wanted to stay behind, but considering who your father is and there has never been a mention of a mother yet….maybe you will fit right into the pandemonium. I understand gaming binges BOW LOZ so guilty. I played through it once got all 999 koroks, Master Sword completely unlocked, all quest, all side quests, the expansion done got everything you get. Started up again. However if you want a game that is torture to yourself there is new Piano game out it is so unforgiving it makes Guitar Hero look easy.
We recognize our own kind, we see each other. We know, dads always know who is the crazy one in the family no matter what you see. WHAT, you think…we are the crazy ones.
Hmm, never would have figured Lark for a half-elf. Was that mentioned before and I just plain forgot or is this new information?
I guess I’m just used to elves being more slim and effeminate and not as beefy as his old man is. 😀

And yes, Lark has pointy-ears, but that’s moreso because of his father, which will be hinted at in this chapter
May be a case of ‘lost in translation’, butt ‘beefy’ doesn’t mean fat
I actually meant beefy as muscular and brawny, unlike elves who tend to be more lean and wiry. Along the lines of bodybuilder/blacksmith versus long distance runner/dancer.

Well, could be it’s just the perspective here or perhaps his chiselled square chin but yeah, I would expect an average elf to look more like Lark’s sister Jenny, including frills and jewellery. 😀 Also, I’m not at all biased against skinny effeminate looking knife-eared tree-hugging buggers, what would even make you think that? 😛 😀

I met a guy back in the 80s who went to high school with Weird Al. He said the principal would let him play his parodies over the PA system for the whole school. I bet some of them would still be a hoot today.
