One has to wonder what exactly Melinda has in mind when it comes to getting the Gods involved. Does she mean in the bedroom? Does she mean in a form of magical destruction? Does she mean more along the lines of a scolding parent telling Magnus to man-up?
Who knows?
I’d bet she got the Gods involved with the cake incident, mind you…
Well, between waiting to see how Hasera reacts to Lark’s comments on her purity, and now how she pulled Magnus down almost the whole ladder in front of Lark and everyone at Magnus’s own birthday, I’m really excited to see how that changes their dynamics with each other.
Well, they didn’t fall down in hysterical laughter, but that was pretty positive. Plus she gave Lark (the current) a great birthday present.
I love Lark/Jefferson’s comment best birthday ever. Also Melinda brushing it of as overly dramatic is priceless. Nana seems unphased apparently while the whole tearing him down and tossing him the well she had elevator music playing loudly in her in head.
Even better than “Don’t make me get your father involved” though considering Magnus is already involved that would be moot. Assuming Magnus actually is Lark’s father. With this family, who can say for sure?
In this world? Who knows?! It’s about as likely anything else!
If Lark approves you’re either doing good, or about to be struck down by all 9 gods. In order.
